He is competent, kind and compassionate. He validated my problem and truly helped turn my life around post-hysterectomy. I was having orgasmic difficulty post-hysterectomy. I have regained much of my function because of his plan of care. I spent over a year and a half with physicians in my home city, who essentially said that my FSD was a "casualty" of the surgery, but they were not able to help me. On a one to ten scale rating my care with Dr. Goldstein-he is a ten plus. He is the BEST. Plus his office staff is very supportive. My first office visit lasted 3 hours.

My husband, family and friends were amazed at how after the first visit, it was like I had myself back. It took about 6 months of using the EROS and following his plan of care before I regained the function that I have today. I can now have an orgasm in 15 minutes and am multi orgasmic.

The treatment that he recommended which is supported by clinical research was Viagra and then the EROS. The EROS can be obtained through Urometrics. A prescription is needed from your doctor. Their website is www.eros-therapy.com if you would like to obtain a free video describing the device, information on the the EROS and the price.

When I went to Dr. Goldstein last month for my first visit I paid $635. You may also want to mention that they don't run insurances. You need to pay up front, then submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

I enquired yesterday (Oct 2002) about the cost of seeing Dr. Goldstein and his sec said the cost of the initial visit is $500 to $900. The consultation charge is $205 and the balance is made up of whatever tests he needs to get done.
