Ok, so what vibrators are good, and where can I get one without being too embarrassed? How about lubricants and other aids?
Look below. You will probably find answers to many of your questions.
(We've linked to commercial sites for products on this page. You're certainly welcome to suggest some different retailers to us that fill these needs. We selected Grand Openings in Brookline Mass for some of these products simply because some of you recommended them!)
Here's what one forum participant said...
Okay, I admit it...I have several. It really depends what you are looking for--good ones for clitoral stimulation or good for penetration. My favorite for penetration is the Cyberskin variety, which come in several sizes. The skin is very like a real penis, and the vibrating "egg" is at the end of the vibrator, so there is more stimulation for those who, like me, enjoy g-spot and cervical stimulation. It is easily pliable, and responds excellently to water-based lubricants. Also, the vibrating control goes from barely-there to Oh My God!, so you can experiment.
For clitoral stimulation, I have to agree with the Hitachi magic wand. However, if you are looking for something that will stimulate her clitoris while you are having intercourse, I recommend the butterfly, available at some adult stores or through xandriacollection.com (one of my favorite adult toy sites, and discreet). This slides onto her hips, resting on her clitoris, so penetration isn't hindered. Many women like this because it frees both their own and their lover's hands, and simultaneous stimulation of the clitoris and inner vagina is what many women need to have an orgasm (or a stronger orgasm).
Another user told us this...
My wife has found the Hitachi Magic Wand to be the most effective therapy of the things she has tried. It is also a very well known device with a long history.
We purchased it at www.blowfish.com when it happened to be on sale, so we only paid ~$35 for it.

I heard about the pearl rabbit, my girlfriend loves it!
I just got an Eroscillator, endorsed by Dr. Ruth, and if that isn't the best vibrator ever made I'll eat my hat. It's $100, but worth every penny. It's got power and just the right movement--it doesn't move like other vibrators.
How about lubricants?
We suggest AstroGlide. It's simply the best we've seen. There are others, and we'd be glad to list them here - let us know
You can get AstroGlide in the West at many stores in the pharmacy and/or where condoms are sold. KY Liquid isn't as good, but it may be more widely available. If you don't care for the embarrassment of buying this at your local store, you can also get it here, although the price is nearly double that of it here in a local grocery/department store.
I've heard about vaginal cones or weights in combination with Kegel exercises?
Try Femtone weights here or the Kegelcisor. They're not cheap, but some women really rave about them.
